"I felt the need to create Paperweight because there is still so much practicality in having one but functionality was lacking in the heavy and round predecessors."

"Glass is so suitable because of its weight and seductive qualities. I wanted to create a sleek design that is delightful to the eye and have other attributes such as allowing pens to rest on it, have attractive markings to assist in margin measuring and to be easily moved on a page. Paperweight is useful, colourful and adds a sense of indulgence on a desk."
