Katja trained as an industrial designer in Barcelona, Berlin and Paris. Most of her work to date has been in Paris where she was the co-founder of bureauparis, a collaborative design concept comprising freelance architects, product and graphic designers. She has worked with internationally acclaimed designers including Marc Newson and Christian Biecher and for fashion labels including Louis Vuitton and Celine.

Jula trained as an architect in Berlin and New York, working with internationally renowned architects including Maya Lin and urban theorist Michael Sorkin. She has worked for the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and for the Italian design journal Domus. Jula has also designed numerous theatre and television sets and the layouts for special collections in art galleries and museums.
