What are the characteristics of the designers who work with you?

We are working with designers who live in Japan. Why? Because we want to produce design that reminds people of "Japanese". We want to work with designers who have a playful mind and are thoughtful about users. "Mutual" design that can communicate with users is important for us.

Why is "design" important for you?
|
|
I think that "Design" is important for everything. For us, a product is a design, marketing is a design, life is a design, and management is a design, too. "Design" is to observe and analyze things from all possible angles and take the best action.

In terms of colour, concept, material, etc, what do you think will be the design trend of this coming year?
|
In terms of colors, it depends on how the products are used in our life. If it is something basic, then it becomes white or natural colors, and if that is something which gives accent in a room, then it can be more colorful. In terms of the future design trend, I think that we should produce more products which are environmentally friendly.

What major change in the field of design do you foresee ten years from now?
|
|
Design can be one of the solutions to the environmental issues that we are facing. We have to think about designing products that will last for a long time. Also, we need to think about designing products which are not only for the developed countries, but for everyone.In ten years, we will see the new era when we "design" our lifestyle and even philosophy.
