bombdesign is a young label for furniture and product design based in Berlin - looking for new interpretations of the everyday object and rethinking the obvious. Founded by Ulrike Acker and Malte Nisch in 2001, bombdesign exhibited new concepts, ideas and prototypes in the starting period. In summer 2005 bombdesign took the next step towards a wider recognized product label in lounching its first collection of products. Ing. Innenarchitektur MFA (H) furniture design RISD …works as a designer in Berlin. After studies of Interior Architecture at Burg Giebichenstein, University of Art and Design, Halle/Saale she worked in the architectural office Belvedere in Bern, Switzerland. She spent 2 years in the United States as a Fulbright Scholar, where she got her Master of Fine Arts from RISD Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, in June 2005. She moved to Berlin in Fall 2005 where she now works on her designs for bombdesign.
