Born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1973. Graduated from Konstfack, University College of Art Craft and Design, Stockholm in 1999. In Business since1999 Received the Åhléns Design & Form Award Excellence Award, ´99 International Craft Exhibition, Itami, Japan. Represented at the Swedish National Museum Founding member of the Metal Design Group LOD Åsa exhibits regularly at home and abroad and has been rewarded for her efforts with competition winning pieces and an increasing demand for her work. Åsa’s design language is both new and old, with a unique quality that attracts interest and evokes afterthought, occupying the no-mans land between the simple and the complex.
